Artist DARRELL JAMES FUSARO, born 1962, in Passaic, NJ, is author of the book, WHAT IF GODZILLA JUST WANTED A HUG?. He is a decorated United States Coast Guard veteran and is on the Board of Directors of the Endowment for Veterans Art Campaign. He is currently represented by Magidson Fine Art, NYC, the city of which he is strongly associated with. He has been exhibited with Andy Warhol in the exhibition SERIOUS FUN, SERIOUS ART and is the recipient of numerous and awards and honors from various organizations including THE PASTEL SOCIETY OF AMERICA. Several books on Fusaro and his work include, LONGSHOT Semi-Annual Arts Journal, PASTEL SCHOOL, and HOW TO GET HUNG: A Practical Guide for Emerging Artists. Articles on Fusaro and his work have appeared in AMERICAN ARTIST MAGAZINE, PASTEL HIGHLIGHTS MAGAZINE, and ARTISTS MAGAZINE.
